Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pidgin
Pidgin doesn't check if there are any conference rooms available at all nor if any room is selected when the user attempts. In case when the user doesn't select any room, pidgin crashes. The error message printed to stdout is 'Segmentation fault.' What i'd expect of Pidgin to do is: 1. check if any conference rooms are available, 1a. if not, then display a message that such a room has to be opened/created, 2. check if any room is selected from the list (or even better - to select the first item in the list by default - this way, there'll be always an item selected).
