Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: fontconfig

In /etc/fonts/conf.d/49-sans-serif.conf, there is a small bug.
<string>sans-serif</string> might have to be changed to
<string>sans serif</string>
without this, flash plugin in Firefox cannot get correct fonts, and
displays non-ASCII characters in blocks.
If the string is changed to "sans serif", this can be fixed.

So weird... in 8.04, fonts in flash plugin used to work fine, but in
8.10, it's broken, AGAIN.
