Prior to upgrading to kernel 2.6.27-9 No kernel panics were experienced. However kernel panics seem "random" they seem to occur during high network activity when using the Ethernet device (Intel Corporation 82573L Gigabit Ethernet Controller) which uses the e1000e driver. No reports of hardware dieing yet and hopefully this bug will be limited to kernel panics!
