TK, this is not the problem, as I told earlier in this bug report the
size of the PCL output is smaller than 10 MB. And in addition, HP's
inkjets are not so dumb as most others. Most of them take an RGB image
and the printer converst it to CMYK or CcMmYK. In addition, the big
temporary files occur also with the "lj5gray" driver, a driver for
monochrome laser printers.

The Ghostscript developers have done more investigation now and found
out which change exactly caused the big temporary files. So there is
really a bug in Ghostscript. Note that older Ghostscript releases worked
correctly.
