I didn't use this plugin in 8.04. If I get a chance I'll try it. BUT I just found out, that this does not happen if I right-click on the slot and the menu comes up (with Minimize/Maximize etc.)
Although when the menu is opened, the window preview disappears (as it should so I could see the menu), upon any movement of the cursor (while still over the slot) it appears again (obscuring the menu, which could be considered wrong behavior as one can't see the menu options, but it disappears once the cursor leaves the area of the slot and enters the area of the menu so it's not so bad). While this menu is up, and the preview already visible, it does not disappear when the cursor moves over the tootip and the tooltip jumps to the right as expected. It works as it should.
