Same bug here. I tried to start aptitude with: $ sudo aptitude A message box appears with: E: Abrindo arquivo de configuração /usr/share/aptitude/aptitude-defaults.pt_BR - ifstream::ifstream (2 Arquivo ou diretório inexistente)
You can close the message box and the application will work okay.
