I am now on Ubuntu 8.10. The Terratec Cinergy C PCI tv tuner card (dvb-c) is still not recognized automatically. I have gotten it to work by manually compiling the drivers, but I have to recompile every time the kernel is updated. I haven't really tried getting the remote control to work. This would apparently also require some kind of patching.
