I believe the last comment referred to a different video card. I have the video card mentioned in this bug description and I still cannot log into Gnome without it crashing. However, the my error only occurs when DRI is enabled. Disabling DRI makes the login possible, but the computer is very slow. I ended up reverting to Hardy because this problem caused such a reduction in productivity.
