Thanks for resolving my bug. I have to repair still tree bugs. The first problem is after upgrading (what was an act of 2 weeks time with a lot of reading of the ubuntu forum) my computer hangs on a black screen with a blinking curser when I tray to shut down the machine. I could'nt resolve the problem in reading the treads of the forum. The second bug is my wireless connection (I get my internet connection only with wireless) dosen't connect automatically. I a terminal I have to type allways sudo dhclient to connect. But since the upgrade to Hardy 0.10 (I have the ubuntu studio) this doesn't work allways. Sometimes I have to restart the machine to make my internet connection work. The third and probably most difficult bug is an input-output error on sda1. If I try to download from the internet a bigger file I can be shure the system hangs. To fix the problem I changed the motherboard and the hard drive without succsess. I use an ASUS P5B-MX/WIFI-AP with 4G ram. Thanks Martin
