Hello,

I am new to "all of this" (Launchpad, ubuntustudio, bug reporting), so I'm
not sure I'm sending this mail to the right people/person. I'm sending it to
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
My reasons are as follows.
I recently installed Ubuntustudio 8.10 and had some trouble, not sure if
studio makes any difference the problem seem similar,
I have gotten the card(Audio Kontrol 1) to play sound via PulseAudio, but x
crashes both (seemingly) randomly and whenever I rotate the knob on the
Audio Kontrol 1 unit.
When the knob is rotated an "f" is printed on the uper left of the screen,
then login eventually (usually but not always) return.

If I can help, please let me know by providing beginner friendly
instructions.

I sending this mail with hopes of once again experiencing my Audio Kontrol 1
- AKG K 702 combo*.
*I don't use it to simply listen to music, I use it to *enjoy* music. ;)

Happy bug solving!

Jonas
