This problem has frustrated me ever since I upgraded to Intrepid. I have the same model of Mighty Mouse; here is the applicable line from `cat /proc/bus/input/devices`:
I: Bus=0005 Vendor=05ac Product=030c Version=0200 I don't think I'm up to compiling a new kernel. I have tried many variations in my "/etc/hal/fdi/policy/mightymouse.fdi" file, but none seem to change the way my mouse operates (vertical wheel scrolling is fine; horizontal wheel scrolling is reverse). Is there a work-around via an fdi file, or is the kernel patch the only work-around at this time? -- Bluetooth Mighty Mouse: hidp HID_QUIRK_INVERT_HWHEEL actually inverts wheel wrong way! https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/291408 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
