Hi Hey, thanks! My Samsung ML-1640 works now. I now hold in my hand a nice looking (black and white though) Ubuntu printer test page.
Actually, my printer is not directly linked to my computer. It is linked to another computer on my home router network. Nevertheless it works just great!
