The problem is that the maximum screen resolution is much too low.
800x600 is normally the baseline resolution.  Ubuntu will not go any
higher than 800x600 resolution.

this OS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
800 x 600 resolution is the lowest of ANY OS.  Ubuntu max is 800x600.  You NEED 
to fix this.
