Hi Leann, I have little or no experience with 2.6.27-7. The bug must have a hiding nature because the freeze sometimes occurs and sometimes not - I was not able to determine the exact circumstances needed for repeating it. It had occurred at least three times with 2.6.27-9, I took photographs of the second and the third (the traces are quite similar).
I have tried 2.6.27-10 from intrepid-proposed, and there are bad news there, but it seems to be another bug: the system goes down to suspend but does not wake up from that state, instead powers off itself. This was the default behavior in Hardy, thus. :-( So in 2.6.27-9 the suspend works about 9 times of 10. Especially if I stop every network activity before - but this is just a guess, ie. I cannot reproduce the freeze with doing networking and ordering suspend meanwhile. -- [2.6.27-9] Occasional freezes during suspend-to-ram https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/304597 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
