Hi I tried enabling TwinView in xorg.conf.
The funny thing I discovered is that if I stop gdm and start the X server with startx, TwinView works ok (see Xorg.0.log_startx_user_2monitor_OK). If then I start gdm, X keeps failing to startup (tried with both only the laptop LCD and LCD + external LCD connected), with similar results. Xors logs follow. I also tried gdb on the running X process while it was trying to start, obtaining this: (gdb) bt #0 0xb7f13430 in __kernel_vsyscall () #1 0xb7bced22 in open64 () from /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libc.so.6 #2 0xb6ab6711 in ??
