You have to use the Ubuntu way (Hardware Drivers window) *or* the way by
downloading the driver from the ati internet page. I suggest to try the
Ubuntu way. Does removing fglrx (how to do that says google or ask here)
and installing it again (in the Ubuntu way) help?
