I can confirm this bug if the document is without paragraphs. That is, if a multipage document is created and saved that has a paragraph that spans several pages, when the document is opened the next time, the sentences will run off the the page. If the document consists of several paragraphs that span 10 or more pages, the bug does not exist.
Further, trying to delete lines after the overrun will take almost all the cpu (89%-96%), and freeze AbiWord. I had to kill AbiWord to stop the freeze. lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 8.10 Release: 8.10 apt-cache policy abiword abiword: Installed: 2.6.4-4ubuntu4 Candidate: 2.6.4-4ubuntu4 Version table: *** 2.6.4-4ubuntu4 0 500 http://ubuntu.osuosl.org intrepid/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status apt-cache policy abiword abiword: Installed: 2.6.4-4ubuntu4 Candidate: 2.6.4-4ubuntu4 Version table: *** 2.6.4-4ubuntu4 0 500 http://ubuntu.osuosl.org intrepid/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Changed in: abiword (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low Status: Incomplete => Triaged -- abiword: Text goes beyond the page. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/287816 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
