Binary package hint: pidgin
Pidgin sometimes (in XP and Ubuntu but far more often in Ubuntu) gets
stuck trying to connect with "Available" status. The spinning connect
circles also get frozen. The two accounts I have are for Yahoo and AIM
and both get stuck. Rebooting and rocking offline/online has no effect.
It'll start working again spontaneously.
