Also have this problem on a Desktop running Intrepid i386. It seems that eventually the "System/Preferences/Keyboard/Mouse Keys/Pointer can be controlled using keypad" turns itself on and causes the problem.
Numberpad is inactivated and text editors behave strangely. (Abiword, OpenOffice and Symphony, at least) After leaving GDM and logging in again everything works fine but the problem returns if this option is "magically" turned to "on". This bug existed in a previous Ubuntu version, I'm not sure which, have to search again in Launchpad, but the unattended "turn on" seems something new. Isn't possible to uninstall this option? -- Mouse goes in... numlock gets stuck https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/114065 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
