Hi Bryce, Sorry not answering for long time. The problem was/is in my laptop, which I've not been using it for sometime for these applications anymore. I cannot at the moment update the system to Itrepid, because I have done too much tinkering to make everything work (webcams, fn keys, etc.) on Hardy.
If I'm able to update the system sometime I will post the new status.
