This details the exact same behaviour that i am getting on myy new 8.10 installation. After a recent update I was lso having problems with 8.04. I am getting the repearint keys and having to unplug sometimes. Usually hitting backspace is enought to stop the character from repeating. This happens for any keys eeen the multimedia keys. dmesg gives: USB HID v1.11 Device [Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000] on usb-0000:00:02.1-3.3 [ 3290.669829] usbhid: input irq status -75 received... this message is repeatted over and over again about 50 times this number seems to accumalate as the error occurs.
