The proposed change is incorrect. Imagine a Kubuntu installation that
does not have pulseaudio installed. In this case, setting the
default_driver to pulse would result in a regression. This is now
worked around in intrepid by installing the pulse pcm+ctl plugin for
alsa-lib if pulseaudio is installed, so it does not matter if
default_driver is set to alsa or pulse, since everything is routed
through pulse if libasound2-plugins is installed.
