Public bug reported: Binary package hint: compiz
Kubuntu 8.10, AMD_64 $ apt-cache policy compiz compiz: Installed: 1:0.7.8-0ubuntu4.1 Candidate: 1:0.7.8-0ubuntu4.1 Version table: *** 1:0.7.8-0ubuntu4.1 0 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com intrepid-updates/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1:0.7.8-0ubuntu4 0 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com intrepid/main Packages An interesting (and rather amusing) bug with the Compiz keybindings for cube rotation. The keybindings for rotating left or right are reversed. So when <ctrl><alt>LEFT is set for rotating left and <ctrl><alt>RIGHT is set for rotating right, the cube actually rotates in the opposite direction to that selected - so <ctrl><alt>LEFT sends it off to the RIGHT. I've experimented with other keybindings (in case it's in some way connected with the keys) and it always rotates in the opposite direction. This did not happen with 8.04, so presumably must be something new in 8.10. ** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- compiz rotate cube keybindings problem https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/307969 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
