actually, I'm still having the problem and part of it is that every time that Firefox opens (this is all new, after the upgrade to 3.0.4, wasn't around before), I'm missing the min/max/close buttons and have to dink around with the F11 button. At least I know how to deal with it for the short term until the bug is fixed, it's not actually a huge inconvenience (not like the problems I had with IE7/spyware on a Windows machine last week).
