Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: language-pack-be-base

As for now (Intrepid) this file contains the following strings:
be_BY.UTF-8 UTF-8
be...@latin UTF-8

Belarusian Latin community needs some change for this file because somehow this
(abbreviated) form of locale name - "be...@latin" is a cause for some problems
(especially in Python programs, see: http://bugs.python.org/issue2178). We
should have the following contents in it:
be_BY.UTF-8 UTF-8
be_by.ut...@latin UTF-8

Programs functionality problems occur, among others, in gnochm, gajim. I
wish this little fix will be released ASAP.

** Affects: language-pack-be-base (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
