Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: update-manager

When executing update-manager from terminal it outputs "current dist not
found in meta-release file".

I've googled this and http://www.go2linux.org/upgrading-to-gutsy appears
to have the answer.

However the blog only covers upto and including gutsy.

Atm my /var/lib/update-manager folder is empty and the blog indicates
that i need a file called meta-release

What do i need in this file? Or is there a utility that will fix the
issue?

This error has occured after a fresh installation of Ubuntu Jaunty alpha
