Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
[submitted at the suggestion of an ubuntu dev: <https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-power- manager/+bug/308815/comments/4>] g-p-m should offer the ability to have the monitor power down after a certain period of inactivity. Ideally it would be possible to have the screensaver run for some period, for entertainment purposes, but then shut off and power down the monitor after a bit. LCD monitors come back almost instantly, so it isn't nearly the liability that it was in the days of CRTs ** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Should allow all displays to power down https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/310822 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
