Giorgio, thanks for that link. It led me to the thread http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=1827692 in which (see post number 8) AaronP of NVIDIA Corporation explains what the bug is and says it will be fixed in the next beta release of the driver.
The latest beta release number is listed at http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=122606 (also by Aaron P).
