The issue can be solved at least by adding some sound volume control on the GDM screen. It is not required to be bound to sound volume controlling buttons/sliders/etc. on a laptop itself. (Never the less, such a binding would be appreciated :) )
For now I just always check the sound volume before switching off my laptop. P.S. That's become a very annoying issue to many of the laptop users. And even for those who used to boot up their desktops in the middle of the night at their sleeping rooms. :) (not every one have detachable speakers) -- Change audio startup order for laptop hardware controls https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/49922 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
