Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

I have two separate IMAP accounts I am accessing from evolution
(2.24.2) on Intrepid Ibex. They use different SMTP accounts. On the Account
Editor page,
neither account has "Make this my Default Account" selected. Even so,
in the "Evolution Preferences" window Acct #1 is listed as the default
account. When I select the Inbox for Acct #2, and compose a new
message, the default identity is that of Acct #1. There is a scroll bar
in the "From" field that allows me to select Acct #2 as my identity, but
if I forget to do this it is sent from the (wrong) identity - Acct #1.

A work-around for this is to create a third, dummy account that is not
activated, and to make this the default account. Then my "From" field is
blank. Then the message cannot be sent unless I manually select (the
appropriate) identity.

I note that Thunderbird selects identities based on whichever Inbox is
highlighted. This is what I expected to happen (and I thought this worked under
Hardy Heron). Instead, the default identity for any mail composed "under" any
IMAP inbox is that of the "default" account.

** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
