Public bug reported: I've got a wireless Logitech VX Revolution on a LG E500 Laptop with Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex. The mouse is recognized correctly and all buttons work as expected.
However, the mouse stops working (randomly) after some time of inactivity (it can be a few seconds), as if it wasn't detected anymore. It is detected again after a certain amount of time, from a few seconds to several minutes. It's of course very annoying... I can also mention that I installed Hidpoint at the beginning because I thought the mouse wasn't detected but I uninstalled it when I noticed it wasn't needed. I don't know if this could have any influence. I'm now going to upload the logs mentioned on: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingMouseDetection ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Logitech VX Revolution mouse intermittently detected https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/311631 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
