unfortunatelly i have the same problem, and, i too, only got it after upgrading to intrepid (even though i think it was already a known problem)... same case, experiencing kernel panics mostly when doing intense network stuff...
i installed linux-backports-modules thinking it might help.. nothing i tried the next kernel which is in intrepi-proposed (i think 2-6-28).. still getting the panic i haven't had the problem for a a week or so, but that's just because my modem broke (so now i have to get myself a new one as a late christmas present) and i cant use the wifi rooter -i am curently using an old usb modem with no ethernet output to conect to the wifi router.. as soon as i get if all set up again, and experience the panic i ll check if i have the same messages.. i really hope we have some news some time soon cause i've allready thought of downgrading to 8.04 ps...
