Hi Andres. I will be switching to Jaunty Alpha soon but at the moment I in Intrepid. It's fully updated (as of 28 December) with kernel 2.6.27-9. XSane still doesn't work and opening gstreamer-properties still gives me those same warnings... But when I click to test 'default input' it correctly brings up a box with my picture in it. ;-)
Obviously theres been some improvement! I have, in fact, also been testing Fedora 10 (a little while ago since it's out now!) and remember it was working perfectly there.
