I'm on A12, which is the default BIOS that came with the laptop. Ubuntu was preinstalled, so no windows ever touched the hard drive. Ever. I may of mentioned it, but I have the Intel GPU, not Nvidia. It also hasn't happened again, so it's consistent in a weird way: it only happens on crappy hotel Access points :)
