Public bug reported: File browser display 'cannot mount volume xxx'. Volume is a ntfs partition and was not closed by windows. User can not mount volume anyway. Real user friendly UI implementation is in this situation:
1) Display an error message that the user can understand in a dialog box with selectable error text 2) Ask the user to mount anyway the the volume and inform the user about the risk. (Yes|No) 3) Yes: mount the volume 4) No: do nothing. ** Affects: meta-gnome2 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- File browser display 'cannot mount volume xxx' https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/312402 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
