Public bug reported: Binary package hint: bittorrent-gui
To reproduce: 1) Have ready a .torrent file ready in your hard disk. 2) Go to "Applications"_"Internet"_"BitTorrent" and open it. 3) Select the .torrent file you already have. Expected behavior: BitTorrent checks existing partial download (if any), then tries to connect to other peers. Actual behavior: BitTorrent window shows no activity at all. If instead of starting the program this way you double-click the .torrent file, BitTorrent woks fine. I use Ubuntu 6.10 ** Affects: bittorrent (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- If bitTorrent is started through the main menu it does nothing https://launchpad.net/bugs/74909 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
