Well there I was thinking I was being a stick in the mud - yes I know
you can do this through /etc/fstab but I'd like hal or something to just
detect the volumes on my machine and automount them. I tried right
clicking on the volumes in computer:/// and configuring the options
under Drive or Volume, but failed - the options here are cryptic
(copying the options listed into the override boxes fails in several
ways. All I want is to automatically mount this partition at login.
