Sorry, but I don't think that the problem is in LD_ASSUME_KERNEL
setting:

1) LD_ASSUME_KERNEL is set correctly in /etc/init.d/maxdb-server script

2) If LD_ASSUME_KERNEL is not set correctly, the database is unable to
get even to admin state

3) The database works fine for me on breezy and dapper correctly. But
the database is not starting correctly on dapper (as described earlier).
But if i push the database from admin state to online state (using
dbmcli command), everything seems to be ok and database works fine on
dapper.

But you may be right, that there may be some problems with shared
libraries and/or their versions.

Thanks

Martin
