Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pm-utils
I am not sure what causes this, but occasionally suspend will fail for me and resume will proceed immediately. pm-suspend.log shows nothing of interest, but my kern.log sure shows a disturbing number of backtraces apparently during suspend events, although they appear to be there even for successful suspends. It is attached. apt-cache policy pm-utils pm-utils: Installed: 1.1.2.4-1ubuntu8 Candidate: 1.1.2.4-1ubuntu8 Version table: *** 1.1.2.4-1ubuntu8 0 1001 http://ubuntu.media.mit.edu intrepid-updates/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1.1.2.4-1ubuntu7 0 1001 http://ubuntu.media.mit.edu intrepid/main Packages $ uname -a Linux mcbain 2.6.27-10-generic #1 SMP Fri Nov 21 12:00:22 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux ** Affects: pm-utils (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [intrepid] Suspend: no sleep, immediate resume https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/313316 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
