Looking at our own patched kernel sources, it looks like we report BTN_TOUCH only for TabletPC. Which may actually be correct.
In that case, though, we also need to augment the blacklist in joydev, which is currently still just: static const struct input_device_id joydev_blacklist[] = { { .flags = INPUT_DEVICE_ID_MATCH_EVBIT | INPUT_DEVICE_ID_MATCH_KEYBIT, .evbit = { BIT_MASK(EV_KEY) }, .keybit = { [BIT_WORD(BTN_TOUCH)] = BIT_MASK(BTN_TOUCH) }, }, /* Avoid itouchpads, touchscreens and tablets */ { } /* Terminating entry */ }; -- wacom tablet shows up as (non-functional) joystick https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/300143 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
