Hmm, strange. I ran empathy and got the messages above. Then I tried to call someone on GTalk, and it crashed (the bug reporting app timed out, I'll try again later).
Then I ran it again and got a different set of debug messages, but the GTalk (Jabber) account wasn't working. Then I killed it and ran it again, and I got the first set of messages: bogd...@mabelode:~$ empathy ** (empathy:4569): DEBUG: mission_control_get_presence_actual: MC not running. ** (empathy:4569): DEBUG: mission_control_get_presence_message_actual: MC not running. ** (empathy:4569): DEBUG: mission_control_get_online_connections: MC not running. ** (empathy:4569): DEBUG: mission_control_get_tpconnection: MC not running. ** (empathy:4569): DEBUG: mission_control_get_tpconnection: MC not running. ** (empathy:4569): DEBUG: mission_control_get_connection_status: MC not running. ** (empathy:4569): DEBUG: mission_control_get_connection_status: MC not running. ** (empathy:4569): DEBUG: mission_control_get_connection_status: MC not running. ^C bogd...@mabelode:~$ empathy ** (empathy:6705): DEBUG: mc_account_get_param_string: Password found in keyring ** (empathy:6705): DEBUG: mc_account_get_param_string: Password found in keyring bogd...@mabelode:~$ empathy ** (empathy:6811): DEBUG: mission_control_get_presence_actual: MC not running. ** (empathy:6811): DEBUG: mission_control_get_presence_message_actual: MC not running. ** (empathy:6811): DEBUG: mission_control_get_online_connections: MC not running. ** (empathy:6811): DEBUG: mission_control_get_tpconnection: MC not running. ** (empathy:6811): DEBUG: mission_control_get_tpconnection: MC not running. ** (empathy:6811): DEBUG: mission_control_get_connection_status: MC not running. ** (empathy:6811): DEBUG: mission_control_get_connection_status: MC not running. ** (empathy:6811): DEBUG: mission_control_get_connection_status: MC not running. -- empathy throws DEBUG messages of "MC not running." https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/315487 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
