I had a similar problem, I found out the cause with the following: sudo killall jockey-backend sudo /usr/share/jockey/jockey-backend --debug -l /tmp/jockey.log
And then trying the install of the driver again. The resulting log file indicates that the module fglrx is not found for the kernel that I run. In my case I run a custom kernel and thus the module seems to need to be compiled and installed manually. Naturally jockey should report this instead of simply ignoring the problem... -- Graphics card doesn't activate https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/298738 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
