One day (around the day when Micro$oft put out the new MSN client and
many users lost compatibility under Windoze), I expected to connect to
MSN, but instead the progress wheel just hanged there.

After this started, I expected never to get onto MSN at all. Yet 1 in
20 times I'll get onto MSN for no apparent reason.

Terminal output included, any help greatly appreciated.

** Affects: pidgin (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
