Ok, I am currently trying this out.

But isn't it possible to set up a keyfile for the swap partition?

I also doubt now that the title of the bug report is right because I have
to type in the passphrase of the root partition before the passphrase of
the swap partition. So I think the root partition already is mounted before the
swap partition but then I don't understand why the keyfile is not being used.
