Binary package hint: fvwm

I use 'fvwm' in the default "mouse follows focus" mode.

When a window (e.g. Firefox) on top of an xterm is closed (e.g. with
Ctrl-W), so that this xterm becomes the new top level window with the
mouse cursor alread within, the xterm will not have the focus despite
the fact that it contains the mouse pointer. It is necessary to move the
mouse cursor out of that window and back again to get the focus.

This is always reproducible. There seems to be no problem if the closing
window is another xterm.

I observed this bug since Ubuntu 8.04. I tried to modify my .fvwm2rc,
and even without any .fvwm2rc, without avail.
