Because problem was clearly related to use of external keyboard, I've
tried to replace my old keyboard with another one and now it seems that
problem disappeared (both keyboards are connected via USB). I'm pretty
sure that problem occurred immediately after upgrading Hardy to Intrepid
but it can be coincidence - implausible but possible. I'm leaving this
issue opened but you can close it if you want.
