It was evolution 2.24.2-0ubuntu1 as per bug title. However, I did save the mailbox files somewhere else a couple of weeks ago, removed the entire ~/.evolution directory, and re-imported the backup.
It worked, and it seems okay now, so I don't really know what happened.
