SOme issues have been found with dmraid since the last alpha release, alpha 2. These issues are hopefully fixed by an update that was recently made to the dmraid package, in addition, there is a new alpha release due out this Thursday, so if you could please wait and try the alternate CD for that alpha release and let me know how you go, that would be appreciated.
