In order to make clear some of the info listed and determine the package(s) causing the problems in your bug report would you answer the following: 1. Is this the first time you have installed the wine package on this same computer? 2. What wine package did you install? What repo did you install the wine package from? 3. Did you loose the desktop icons for all fixed and removable drives? 4. Have you attempted to uninstall the wine package to see if the problem is reversed? 5. Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the wine package to see if happens again? The aforementioned questions were the first that I thought of when I first read your bug report and in trying to determine what package this bug should fall under.
