Public bug reported:

Steps to reproduce:
* Log into KDE.
* Right-click desktop-> "Configure desktop..."
* Click "Behaviour" icon, then "Device Icons" tab.
* Set "Show device" icons to on.
* Click "Apply"
* Mounted hard drive volumes, CD drive etc. icons should appear on the desktop.
* Set "Show device" icons to off.
* Click "Apply".
* Mounted hard drive volumes, CD drive etc. icons are still on the desktop.

What I expected to happen:
Mounted hard drive volumes, CD drive etc. icons should not appear on the
desktop when the box is unchecked.

     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
